End of Season Ball Hosted by PTFC

Tomorrow, Friday May 11th 2012, at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow, Partick Thistle Football Club is hosting an End of Season Ball with the aim of helping football realise some of those dreams.

The Club are currently trying to nurture the next generation of stars that will represent Partick Thistle and, who knows, maybe even add their name to list of international players who started out at Firhill. Funds from this night at the Crowne Plaza, which nestles next to the banks of the River Clyde, can help make dreams come true. Which is why in addition to providing funds for Youth Development, Partick Thistle are proud too to split the proceeds from this not to be missed event with the Right to Dream charity.

Tickets for this event are £75 each with tables comfortably seating 10.

Before we get into who won what (and there is quite an interesting award this year, which all the players wanted to win!), a huge thank you to everyone who came along on Saturday night and helped to make the night a massive success.

UPDATE:

We are pleased to announce that this year’s POTY awards are a complete sell out! Our thanks go out to everyone who has bought a ticket and also those who have taken the time to vote.

We will update the website with the winners after Saturday night’s event.

As we move towards the end of yet another topsy-turvey season, it’s time once again to find out who has impressed you.

The Player of the Year Presentation & Dance will take place after our last home game of the season, the 28th April at 7.30pm in the Aitken Suite. Tickets are priced at £5 and will be available at the Trust Kiosk come this Saturday vs Livington. Tickets can also be ordered by contacting any member of the Trust Board.

This event is usually a sell-out, so we expect tickets to sell quickly.

How to Vote

In order to cast your vote for your Player of the Year, please email secretary@jagstrust.co.uk with “POTY” in the subject heading. Please note that the deadline for voting will be Friday 20th April at 11.59pm.

Supporters Direct Meeting

As you may be aware from our recent programme articles, Supporters Direct is holding a consultation meeting on Sunday 1st April.

This meeting has been called in the wake of the Consultation document (available to view in the library section) created by the Board of Supporters Direct Scotland. The document deals with the fallout of the removal of funding for Supporters Direct and what direction to move forwards in.

The Jags Trust are organising a race night, taking place on Friday the 2nd March in the Aitken Suite, with a 7:30pm start.

Tickets for the event are priced at £3 which will be available from the Trust kiosk before the next two home matches against Morton and Ayr, or by contacting any member of the Trust Board.

The Board of The Jags Trust and the Community Central Hall would like to thank all those who purchased tickets for the Festive Raffle and ensured our first joint venture has been such a great success!

The draw was made at CC Halls on 5th January and all prize winners were phoned immediately to advise of their luck.
